Darling Buds

Bridal Bouquets exclusive to Nathania Springs

Let Darling Buds take the hassle out of the bridal bouquets and bridal party floral arrangements for your wedding with their stylish and elegant flower arrangements.

Available exclusively to brides (and grooms!) booked with Nathania Springs, Darling Buds brings yet another facet to the all encompassing service offered by the award-winning reception centre.

Co-owner and manager at Nathania Springs, Helen Celerier has been creating the table centre pieces in the dining room for over five years and is thrilled to launch this 'business with a business', Darling Buds.

Although the wedding bouquets are not included in our wedding package, you will find that Darling Buds’ prices are very competitive.

Trailing bouquet
A cascade of Pink Seduction roses, soft pink Lisianthus, subtle pink Chinencenie carnations, Geraldton wax and leather fern. Edged with eggshell ribbon bows. 36cm long by 23cm wide (approximately).

Natural stem posy
A contemporary posy featuring exquisite Iceberg roses and ivory Lisianthus. The stems are partially bound with quality ribbon (colour of your choice) and trimmed with pearl-head pins. 22cm across (approximately).

Flowergirls
Our advice is to “keep it simple”. Incorporate the same colour and flowers as the bridesmaids’ bouquets. We keep the basket lightweight as children won’t want to carry a heavy, flower-laden basket for long periods  Alternatively we can supply a basket of rose petals for the flower girl to scatter in front of you as you walk down the aisle.

Thank you bouquets
No doubt lots of people have helped you bring everything together for your wedding day. A generous way to express your appreciation is to offer them a stunning thank you bouquet from Darling Buds. The perfect timing to say thank you is during speeches and a beautiful bouquet can be freshly presented at this time to these special people.

Buttonholes
Buttonholes help to identify the bridal party members amidst all the dark suits. Roses are undoubtedly the most popular buttonhole flower. Darling Buds will create some simple yet stunning buttonholes that can either match the bridesmaids’ dresses or match the groom and groomsmens’ waistcoat colours.

Arm sheaf
A contemporary arrangement for the bride who dares to be different - this arrangement features Red Intuition roses, Cordyline leaves and Brasilia, tied with a purple organza ribbon. 60cm long by 26cm across (approximately).

Other floristry options

Bridesmaids’ Bouquets
Bridesmaids generally have smaller versions of your bouquet if it is a natural stem posy. You can however choose to have something altogether different, providing there is some aspect that brings it all together, such as matching ribbon to bring harmony to the overall look.

Rose petals for the dining tables
Darling Buds can decorate the guests’ tables and bridal table with fresh rose petals to add an extra floral dimension to the dining room.

Corsages
Traditionally the mother of the bride and the mother of the groom wear corsages. Sisters, grandmothers, godmothers may also like to add an extra element to their look with beautiful flowers pinned onto their outfit. Flower colours that contrast with the wearer’s outfit can look stunning.
The flowers used in most corsages are wired and bound with ribbon. Popular corsage flowers are roses and orchids. It is important to consider the type of fabric that the corsage will be pinned on to. It is not a good idea (or look) to have a corsage that drags or pulls on a delicate fabric.

Single Rose, Bonbonniere Option
If you're unsure what sort of bonbonniere to provide for guests, why not consider placing a beautiful single rose in the bow of the sash on each chair in the dining room? A unique, memorable twist on the traditional wedding gift for your friends and family to take home, from just $2.50 per guest.

Delivery on the day

Darling Buds offer you three options:

1

If you are having your wedding ceremony at Nathania Springs we suggest that you receive your flowers when you arrive at Nathania Springs, just prior to your ceremony. Your flowers will be waiting for you, fresh and perfect for your wedding photographer to capture as you prepare to walk down the aisle.

2

You may like to consider sending a sibling, family member or available relative to pick up the wedding flowers the night before or on the morning of the wedding.

3

Pay a delivery fee of $35 (within a 25 kilometre radius) and the flowers will be delivered approximately one hour before you are due to leave for the ceremony.

How do I pick a bouquet?

With so many bouquet styles to choose from it is important to consider which elements appeal to you. Think about your favourite flowers and favourite colours.

Don’t worry if you don’t know the exact type of flower or name of the rose for your bouquet. Darling Buds will advise and guide you through the process of choosing the right bouquet for you and your bridesmaids. The flowers arranged for you by Darling Buds will be a very important focal point of your day. You will receive many compliments for the great choices you have made.

Darling Buds works with a local rose grower and a local flower farm to ensure consistent quality of roses, flowers and foliage used in the arrangements.

The price of your flowers will vary according to the workmanship involved. Darling Buds has created three options that won’t blow the budget and will create the visual impact and beauty you are looking for on your very special day.

If you wish to receive pricing or more information on arrangements offered by Darling buds, please feel free to contact Helen from this website by choosing 'Darling Buds' from the drop-down menu.
