14,000 good reasons
Nathania Springs offers you great flexibility when making decisions about the music at your wedding. Included in every wedding package is completely free use of the Nathania Springs DJ. This service boasts a massive library of over 14,000 titles for your ceremony, reception background music and dancing.

Sounds good
The Chapel, gazebo and dining area are equipped with a state-of-the-art sound system as well as a Baby Grand electric piano for use in the Chapel and/or dining room. Of note is our dining room's duel-speaker system, meaning that the music is softer at reception tables where guests may prefer to mingle, and louder on the dance floor for some crazy Nutbush action.

Live music or DJ?
Most of our clients chose to use our built-in sound system and DJ services. If you have specific songs you would like played and we don’t have them, you are more than welcome to bring them along. A comprehensive abstract of our music selection is made available to you once you have booked, via the login section of our website. We have numerous band contacts should you wish to have live entertainment at your reception. Please ask us for details on this.

Planning music for the ceremony
Should you be planning your own music play-list from scratch, be aware that the ceremony generally requires four items:

  • one for the processional (also referred to as “aisle” to be played as the Bridesmaids and Bride walk down the aisle)

  • two to be played for the signing of the register

  • one item for the recessional (also referred to as “exit” to be played as the Bride and Groom leave the Chapel or Gazebo)

Typically there are 3 dance segments ranging between 15 to 40 minutes during the reception. This of course being dependant on your own personal time-guide.

Background music
For music played during the service of the various courses, we play background music in a style that you may specify: e.g. classical baroque, light jazz, blues, modern jazz, modern, folk, etc... For the speeches, you may consider a short musical introduction for each one of the speakers. Again our music list is only a prompt.

The DJ is included in all of Nathania Springs' wedding reception packages.
We'll help you plan all the music for your wedding, including the bridal waltz, dancing and music for your wedding ceremony.
